Bill is a founding member of Oldham Kramer whose practice focuses on trial practice, probate law and litigation, estate planning and adoptions. Prior to the formation of Oldham Kramer, he was a shareholder/partner with Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, a large Akron Firm, and Managing Partner there from 1985-1991.
- Member of the Akron Bar Association and served a term as president from 1987-1988, and member of the Ohio and American Bar Associations.
- Received his bachelor's degree from The University of Akron in 1964 and his law degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 1967. Bill was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1967 and is admitted to practice in various Federal Courts including the U.S. Supreme Court.
- Adjunct professor for The University of Akron School of Law, teaching courses in trial advocacy, problems in evidence and law office management.
- Adjunct professor for Hiram College, teaching legal ethics.
- Founding member of the Scanlon American Inns of Court, a group that mentors young lawyers and law students, and served as Inn President.
- Former president of the Akron Rotary Club.
- Served on the Board of Trustees for Walsh Jesuit High School, Hiram College, Family Services of Akron, Akron General Medical Center and the Hudson
- Library and Historical Society, Summit County Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Murdough Foundation.
- Married with three adult children and seven grandchildren.
